2 Music videos task

The first music video I have chosen is save your tears by The Weekend

The setting is in a restaurant and shows people wearing masks as it's very strange for every single audience member to wear masks on in front of a singer performing.

The mise-en-scene has the singer performing with people behind him playing instruments to give a non-technology feel.

The camera cuts in different directions and at one point moves at a 360 turn (omnidirectional camera)

The position of the singer is at the centre of the stage and the cameras is focused on him to show the viewers where he is.

The second music video I used was Faint by Linkin Park

The setting is at a performance to make it feel like it was a live show.

The mise-en-scene has the band members in darkness which gives suspense if this was someone's first time watching a music video, it makes the viewers think "Who are they?"

The camera is very slow and focuses on the band for the whole video.

The position of the band is they're standing on the stage for the entire video even at the ending of the video.
