In this film poster I have made it as part of the horror genre because there is blood on the picture and it has an 18 certificate by the BBFC.
The conventions of horror are nightmares, alienation, vulnerability, death, fear of the unknown, and loss of identity.
It works because it horrifies the audience and scares them as it would have the villain being a killer.
The colours are in tone with the genre as it has red and black in the poster and the font has white which is common for a title of a horror film.
