EXPOSITION: On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six year old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith. He was sentenced and locked away for 15 years. But on October 30, 1978, while being transferred for a court date, a 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes Smith's Grove.
DEVELOPMENT: The film begins with a first person shot of Michael Myers looking in a window and seeing Judith Myers kissing her boyfriend and Myers sneakily enters his house and draws the knife from the draw goes upstairs where her sister is and stabs her to death, Myers gets back down the stairs exits the front door and is found by his parents with a knife still in his hand the camera switches to a zooming out shot of Michael.
COMPLICATION: Michael Myers breaks out of Smith's Grove Sanitorium and heads to Haddonfield, Illinois.
CLIMAX: The film gets tense as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is getting stalked by Michael as he tries to kill her.
RESOLUTION: The film ends with Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) shoots Michael 6 times to the chest and falls off a balcony, however after Michael fell he disappeared and is still on the loose.
